Description

Protect carpet and upholstery with Green Guard ! Meeting Green Approval, Green Guard is a cutting edge protector that utilizes anti-stain and re-soiling properties that protects and keeps carpet & upholstery cleaner, longer. Green Guard will neutralize alkalinity and also assist in reducing wicking and even works as an acid rinse at 1-2 oz per gallon.

Green Guard protector dilutes at 9:1 as a protector. This means one RTU gallon diluted will cover 6,000 square feet, making Green Guard an incredible value in addition to providing effective, lasting protection.

Safe for use on upholstery with “W” or “W/S” on the care tag.

FAQ:

Q: Is Green Guard safe?

A: Yes. Green Guard  meets Green Approval and is a people and pet safe product

Q: What’s the dilution?

A: Mix at 9:1 (or @14 oz per gallon) as a protector and 1-2 oz per gallon as an acid rinse

Q: Can this be used on fine fabric?

A: Yes (though it never hurts to test)

Q: What does it do?

A: Green Guard works as an anti-resoling agent and anti-dye blocker. It is very effective at protecting carpet and upholstery

Q: Does it work on polyester?

A: For anti-resoling, yes and it does quite well at it

Q: Can I add this to an encap?

A: Green Guard can be added to most encaps without an adverse effect making application super simple

Q: Does it clean? Is it the same as an encap cleaner?

A: No. The makeup of Green Guard is different than that of encapsulating cleaners. Green Guard provides protection from soiling and staining, whereas encapsulation cleaners remove soils and oils in addition to removing residue (at least the better products) via a more immediate encapsulation. Also, better encaps will help carpet maintain appearance, but Green Guard extends the length of protection in addition to it’s ability to dye block.

Q: How much should I charge for carpet protection?

A: You need to decide what you feel is a fair price for your time and product cost. Keep in mind that Green Guard is very economical. Your cost for application is less than once cent per square foot!
